Unique Wedding Ideas Page 11

63. After seeing way too many flower girls and ring bearers get lost or distracted on their way down the aisle, and knowing that I have so many kids to use for this job, I have decided to have one flower girl for each bridesmaid. When the bridesmaids walk down the aisle, they will be holding the hand of one very sweet, un- distracted flower girl. The ring bearer will come in with the groomsmen. The mini-attendants will also stand with their grown-up companion.

64. At my wedding each of my bridesmaids will be carrying one single flower in place of a bouquet. Each rose color or flower will symbolize a sentiment that we wish our marriage to have. Red rose, love. Pink rose, desire, etc. The maid of honor will be carrying a bouquet of one of each of the flowers plus her own. It is a nice sentiment and also cuts down on costs for the bouquets!

 65. My girl cousin married a writer form the local newspaper and she works in the news room of the local TV station.
For wedding favors they gave out the daily paper and she gave out free family tour station passes to the TV station. Everybody loved it.
I thought a favor reflecting who they are was neat plus everybody likes reading the paper.
Everybody was doing that before dinner. It was funny seeing all these opened papers in the hall just before dinner while guests trickled in.

66. I am getting married in June. Instead of having an ordinary guest  book, that you hardly will look at again, I am going to create a photo guest book. My guest book attendants will take Polaroid's of each guest... either individually or in a group, however they come, and put it on the pages of the guest book/scrapbook. The guests will then sign on the bottom of their picture. My fiancée and I will then have a photo album of all the guests at our wedding! :)

67. We're breaking with tradition all over the place. Our wedding is going to be outside over Labor Day weekend. Because it is still relatively hot and summer-like we are giving Asian folding pocket fans for favors that will be tied together with a party noise maker and note from us thanking everyone for sharing our day and explaining that the noise makers are to be used at the end of the ceremony. We're starting out with the receiving line as the guests enter the garden where the ceremony will take place, that way we get greet each guest and hand them their favor. They then will have the fan to help keep them cool during the ceremony and an appropriate celebratory item instead of rice or birdseed to send us off to the reception with good tidings!

68. We plan on passing out small taper candles with our names and the date of our wedding printed on the candle to our guests in attendance. Once we've lit the unity candle, we will walk down to the guests and "pass off" the flame until all the candles in the room are lit.
Also I will have two bouquets, one for the traditional toss, and the other I will present to the couple that has been married the longest.
